Is This It?

Hey

After doing a lot of research i have drawn up my HD wishlist. Or i think i have. I find myself going back to sites and asking myself, is this it? Is this everything i need?

Anyway, you guy's can hopefully help me. Before i get my wish though i best tell you want im after. And a few other bit's of info

What am i hoping to receive?

BBC HD really, i did however stumble across this post the other day "Discovery and the History channel are available from the Astra sat at 19.2 deg East" I would love this to be true!!! Is it, or is just in standard definition.

Notice

I don't know if this will make a difference but i live around 50 meters above and 50 meters from the sea. So it can get sorta windy sometimes.

Question

I am planning on going with a motorised dish, is there a list of channels anywhere that i will be capable of receiving?

Onto the WISH LIST

Triax TD88 90cm Triax motorised dish with Technomate 2100 motor and 0.2dB Titanium LNB.

It says i need a 50mm (2") dia. mount. Where can i get one?

V Box

PACE DS810XE Satellite Receiver

Thats it, Is that all i need? Is it any good? Any experiances with this equipment?

Thanks alot, i know its alot to answer.

Re: Is This It?

I'm thinking of doing the same thing - but rather than going motorized, have multi LNB's instead, should be able to pick up 28e astra2 + 19e astra 1 + 13east hotbird that way, should be more than enough channels there!

Re: Is This It?

Some more question's for you god sends to answer

The Vbox, I am correct in saying that it tune's my dish to the correct cordinates for each channel right?

Example, Im watching BBC HD i then want to watch something on astra 2b. Will my vbox move my dish and tune it in? Also how long does this take?

Another. Should i expect the same sort of quality through this method as opposed to say Sky?

Thanks
