Question On Quad LNB

Hi everyone, this is my first post so please bear with me. One of the two LNB feeds has stopped working on my Sky + box . After substituting my old digi box , I am satisfied that the fault lies either in the cable or the LNB itself. I notice that the LNB is of the quad type - is it likely that by moving the cable to one of the two spare LNB outputs the feed will be restored on both inputs ?

It's worth a go...nothing to lose...just try and not disturb its position on the dish.
