Hi,

Just got a Pioneer DBR-TF100, can anyone who has got/had one tell me have you got a lead that comes out of the side of the box, like a headphone lead almost with a little jack on the end?

What is this for?

Thanks!!

Is it a captive lead?
The user manual doesn't show or mention it.
Can you post a pic?

I spoke to Richer Sounds and it doesn't sound like it is standard, I'm going to take it down there at lunch for them to have a look at..... Also, is there anywhere I can download a manual from?

By the sounds of it I would say it is a lead belonging to a different piece of equipment and it has been put into this box by mistake...which was probably open or not sealed when you bought it?
There should have been a user manual in the box...you can download it from http://www.pioneer-eur.com/eur/conte...t/manuals.html

That explains it then...the telephone type lead probably belongs to something else.

Its all working fine! Strange thing though, is it won't pick up a good signal with the house arial, yet it works really well with a cheap old arial!!
