Amstrad Digibox won't come out of standby.

I hav an Amstrad digibox (DX400, I think).

It has worked okay but now won't come out of standby, despite leaving off for a while, and trying to force a software update.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be and a possible fix?

Thanks.

My mate has the same box and the same problem. Leave it off for a while. Then try turning on holding backup. Doesn't work all the time though, and it will probably continue to die every so often. He tells me his has been ok for the past week...

I had an identical problem with a Panasonic box recently which resulted in the box having to be changed.

Cheers,

Martin.
