House Keeping , how long...

Well having not used any of the "+" facilities over the weekend , tried to record a couple of programmes this afternoon . All went well it seems . However , I decided to do a planner rebuild , and its been stuck on housekeeping for about 10 minutes now . How long does it normally take , and are there any consequences if I reboot the box

John

Having been told to do this twice in the last month, it should only take around 1-2 minutes, but I think it depends on how full the drive is as I think it re-formats the drive. Ii think you have reasonable grounds to demand a new box. I've had problems with mine but yours sounds a lot worse.
