Curios, DD available on all movie channels now?

hiya folks,

dont normally start threads, but this one has me curious, watching Scary Movie 3 atm on SM7 and its flagging up DD on my surround amp.....likewise Lost in Translation on SM6, Last Samurai on SM5, yet Blade:Trinity on SM3 is only PL2, French Kiss on SM2 in PL2, US Marshalls on SM1 in DD......

i dont remember seeing anything from Sky saying more than SM1,2 and 3 have DD, but obviously now they do.........anyone else got the same?

Yes, although no official announcment has been made, DD 5.1 on other movie channels seemed to make an appearance at the same time as the HD movie channels.

well i hope it stays this way, w00t :-)

makes it worth browsing the other movie channels now, normally i only bother to look at them if i want a comedy, but now i know i can get DD anywhere i'll be more vigilant...heh

edit: altho would be nice if Box Office would do DD too, given you pay £3 you'd think they'd chuck it in!....save me buying some films i know i'll probably only watch once in a year or two......(sorry but some films like Serenity NEEEED to be done properly given my setup.....so DVD's it is until i get DD on SBO...lol)

It would be nice also if standard boxes had digital outputs not just Sky+, unless things have changed.
