TV DRIVE - How quiet in operation ?

Would anyone who has Telewest TV-DRIVE installed care to report on the
level of noise from the box when in operation. Is the hard drive running all the
time, for replay, as for record and is this level a problem ?
I have not heard the Sky+ running.

I sit about 2m from the hi-fi stand and use the standard TW box.

Hi,
No discernible noise at all from TV drive. It goes into Rest mode in the afternoons but can be wakened at any time.

Again, Ihave not noticed any noise from my TV-Drive.

The blue neon lights, however when the unit is switced off is another matter IMHO
