Sony D800U optical cable?

Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious, but I just got this Sony STB, and my existing optical cable won't fit into the port on the back (it has a 'square' cross-section, while the port on the Sony is small and round, about the size of a 3.5 jack, which I understand it will also accept).

Do I need some form of convertor, or a special cable?

There are 2 types of standard connections for optical cables, TOSLink as you have on your cable and mini TOSLink (minijack) as on the Sony STB.
You can either replace the cable with a TOSLink to mini TOSLink cable or just get an adapter, both of which are available from Here.
