Digibox connection to the tel. line

I have 3 digiboxes in my house and i know that 2 of them which are on a 10quid subscription have got to be connected on the line all the time.Does the same applies for my main one?

The phone line is there to confirm the presence of the mirror subs in the same household as the main sub.

aye, all 3 must be connected as part of the multi room agreement, break this at your peril ;-)

I did try to leave one of the subs disconnected and they chased me with letters .As for the main one i know that you have the option to have it without having it connected to the line.I know better coz i have one in a different country
