Strange message

I was watching the footie last night whilst trying to record a channel 4 program and a second program on 'Living' on my Sky+ box...

Received an error saying that I had to cancel one of the recordings and to highlite which one I wanted to cancel the press 'select'?

Any ideas.. sure I have recorded two feeds before whilst watching a third channel

you can only record two at once or watch one/record one. Only two tuners.

The only way you could have previously watched a third programme whilst recording 2 other channels is by watching one of your recorded programmes from planner.

yeah, it's always safer to record everything you want to watch, if practical, and then watch off hd, otherwise things like livepause can mess it all up

i got in the habit of (bit sad this) going through all my favourite channels for a week at a time, and basically only watching newsnight live, and everything else just after it started from hd - give it ten minutes for commercial channels and you can skip all the ads too

I rarely watch live TV anymore. Strange how this little box has changed our viewing habits completely. lol

You can - if the third channel is from another source. As has been said, only 2 channel tuner.

Record Ch1
Watch Ch2 (or watch something you've recorded previously)
or
Record Ch1
Record Ch2 <- while watching one of the recording channles
or
Record Ch1
Record Ch2
Watch DVD or terrestrial tv through another source.
