160GB Installed but 2nd Box not showing

We had the good ole reliable version 1 Sky +box for some time with very few problems. When they installed that a few years ago the old box went in kids room for freeview.
The lads have just left and I note that the Sky box that we got setup in the other room for freeview is not showing any signal on the Sky+ box menu in the main room.
Is there something they should have changes in settings etc? Im a little paranoid because they were in and out in less than 10 min. I have not got recording yet either.

OMG this box is noisy as everyone says and ours is behind a glass door!

Sorry typed in a rush.
Previous set up was sky+ version 1 in main room with the "old" sky digi box in spare room.

They swapped my version 1 with a new Sky+ 160. But now the box in the spare room does not get a signal.

How was the old digibox connected, via multiroom or using the RF TV Link setup. Did they just swap th box or did he do anything to the dish. Also have you contacted Sky CS.
