RGB Connection

I don't live in the UK so my query is a bit unusual i.e not Sky related. I live in the UAE and my satellite feed comes via a Thomson set top box (model unknown, supplied by the service provider). The box has a PCM output and video output via a socket which I don't recognise. This socket is round, a bit bigger than s-video, with (I think) 10 pins, described above it as "RGB-video"

Can anyone tell me what this is and is it any good.

Thanks

Steve

As no one has come up with an answer .. I would ring up your service provider- is it Orbit? and find out the model number of the box. Then do a search on the web.

Unknown Socket

Thanks Cliff,

The service provider in this case is Evision (the local cable co), approaching these people directly is a long and tortuous (and often fruitless) process.

I will try the manufacturer as the next option.

Thanks

Steve
