Old Digibox

I have an old Amstrad DRX100, last used in a previous house in 2001, which I was planning to use for a caravan. To test it I switched it with our current Amstrad digibox, only to find "no satellite signal". Signal strength shows nil, with occasional grey flashes. The digibox was working well when last used.

Does anyone have any ideas?

The DRX100 was famous for tuner failure. You can get exchange tuners from MCES for £12.50 + VAT, but you have to remove the tuner (which requires quite a bit of soldering expertise) and return just the tuner to them to get this price. Alternatively you can send the box back to them and get it repaired for about £45 inc. VAT.
