Crackling noise with Live TV

Recently got SKY+ installed about 2 weeks ago and since then have had 4 different boxes eventually all up and running fine, But it seems on a couple of recordings and more or less all the time on live football that the sound is very crackly, normally have the sound turned up on my amp to about volume 15 with films etc but with football, lucky if I can go above 8, is anybody else having this problem

Have you checked your connections between the amp and the Sky+ box, probably not defective if you are not experiencing problems everytime you watch it.

I had to change my optical cable when the sound kept cutting out.

Yeah have tried that just seems to be strange its only live TV, UK Gold done it a couple of times as well
