Oh Dear

Well, I ordered Sky + over 2 weeks ago, and am just waiting for it to be installed on Wednesday.

I rang up today to check and see the progress of the viewing card, when I was told that they have inputted the wrong details - and send the viewing card to a different house down the road (which the number of doesnt actually exist). Hoping that it will arrive tomorrow, otherwise I guess theres no chance of another one arriving before wednesday?

Is this typical of Sky's customer service? I'm a little dissapointed - if anything I want a viewing card so I can test out the Amstrad box for vertical lines on Wednesday!

Well, with such an optimistic attitude, how can you possibly fail ?

Hehe,

I guess it all stems from the optimistic attitude of all those here who constantly sing the praise of Sky day and night.

Well, the install was today - viewing card was only sent out yesterday via special delivery, but no sign of it.

Amstrad box fitted, absolutely shocking picture quality - loads of horrible banding and like a movement of blackish bars going up and down the screen.

Got on the phone to Sky, installer is coming back on Saturday, apparantly with a new PACE box
