Anybody on here got a TM5302 HD?

I had use of a 5402 recently - part good part not so good.

I briefly used one on an install a customer had bought by mistake - had supposed to be the TM5402HD, very different menu look- looked like a Sky HD box, has the server support to download new firmware including phantom's, the channel listing's format was different so I couldn't load it up with ours & we had to download one, which was fast to do but the sat/ channel listing was very basic, otherwise I think the same as the TM5402HD except the missing CAM & different box- not sure if something else's is different....

With that different menu look it does look like a different box from the 5402- I can see where they've gone with it & all worked OK- same sensitivity etc...

Yes, most things turn out to be good, in parts.
It's a neat looking thing and works well as Pedro found, but I didn't like the channel lists either and it uses a different recording format from the other Technos.

The channel list is in tbn format and there are no channel settings editors available.

Fine, got most of what I wanted done then my wee netbooks battery went critical mass on me, now a cant do f all, got the usb recording working before that happened luckily.

Unfortunately not, but hey ho, do you know if I can get the Sundek DVB-S2 USB stick working wothout the need for a pc, I seen one on German Amazon for a good price.

Sorry use an internal HD on my V+
