Sky Italia

Hi all

Has sky italia lost the premier league rights for next season as there subscription cards on TVcorner seemed to have dropped in price considerably, i thought Sky Italia was closer to €1,000 but have the price listed at €249 for a years sub.

prepaid cards have been around for a while @ resonable prices. Would be suprised if they dont have any epl next year, unless they dont want to pay the inflated price?

Thought it would be cheaper than that as per my first post, £250 for card and box (calcio only as i believe these are the channels that show the games and not the Sky Sports channel) and as this can be picked up on a sky dish which can be had from about £30 from certain auction sites

The Sky Sports channels in Italy do show some games.

Ah ok thanks, looks like it might be a bit more expensive than i thought, usually whenever i saw a game on Sky Sports Italy it would also be on sky Calcio, must have changed since i last looked into it

Hi I have just ordered a 12 month pre paid calio card.

The seller says it comes activated.

I am going to put the card in my Vu Duo.

Has anyone on here used a prepaid card ? Wondering if updates need to be disabled?

I have got a usb card reader I may use that instead off the internal reader.

Conflicting reports off cccam and oscam I would rather use cccam to read the card

Sorry, I hope didn't mislead you there.

From experience the Sky Sports channels don't show any extra games. They only show some of what are already broadcast on the Calcio channels. So there is no need for both if you just want Calcio/Football.

I'm not sure how the subscription system works over there but I'm sure I've seen matches on at least 3 different Sky Italia channels plus HD varieties at the same time.

I know someone who uses CCcam 2.1.3 without any problems at all. Updates card and everything fine.

There's plenty of forums and sites with details of cccam and set top boxes. I doubt here is the ideal place to ask.

Also if you buy off Ebay, make sure its a reputable dealer, I've heard of cards die long before their advertised time. This is especially a problem when they come pre activated. You have no idea how long they have been active. If it looks cheap, there's probably a reason

Agree, some are only 3 month cards, it has also been known for multiroom cards to be sold as "prepaid", they work for a few weeks, then because the box isn`t ringing home from the same line the original card is on it shuts off.

Hopefully the eBay seller is ok.

I had to select what I wanted with calico I chose music I will have to see.

I bought a 12 monthly setanta card last year I'm hoping to be able to re register the card when it expires through the website.
Setanta is pretty poor though 1 game and no hd ! Even though they broadcast hd on Irish cable now.

We will have to see if the Viasat axing of 3 pm KOs via Satellite as they have reported today effects Sky Italia as well, I guess. They claim the EPL are not allowing any such games other than via cable and iptv.

Well been known to last 3/4 months. I'd say latest ones have been going 2 months at least.
So far do good.
