Choose the enigma2 v4 settings in the config of your box in dreamboxedit, and then that uploads all the correct files in to the needed boxes!

My Dm800 is fitted with a 250g Hd and just wanted to know if they is a software/setting you can use to pause,rewind,fast forward programs like what the Sky+ hd box does?Is this possible with the Dm800?

Also am thinking of getting another Dreambox/technomate to use in the other room ,im using a motorised dish at the moment my question is can i use two receivers with one dish and how to i go about it ,and what do i need to get to connect the other box.

Permanent Time Shift plugin. Does not work with latest OE 1.6 images yet.

Partnerbox plugin. GIves you control of the other box (and motor) from a second box. Works with latest images.

Thanks for the reply,Partnerbox plugin where can i get it from?done a google search and most stuff is in German and how do i load it to my box and which folder does it go into if im using dcc?Or can i get it from my box using addons?

Board tonight watching the france game so thought i'd stick a new image on my DM8000. Backed all my settings up with software mangaer and loaded latest Dreamelite CLICKY , must say well impressed, very fast and nice default skin.

Yup, dream-elite images are the best around at the mo imo. Available for all the vu+, dm500hd, dm800 & dm8000. So, the most popular boxes easily covered...

Jesus had a mare with the DE image, major problem with CCcam. Gone to Gemini image now.

What prob did you have?! Last de I used was the 1.3 image. So, hadn't tried the 1.3.3 before I sold the 800, but that worked perfectly fine with cccam 2.1.3 & 2.1.4.

What problem did you have?! (if it's talkable about on here?!)

CCcam kept getting the DM to reboot everytime i downloaded it, seems a few are having the problem.
Now using gemini just need to work out how to set up 7 day epg.

hey guys just a quickie, got my dm800hd setup with blackhole image 0.12, I used to be able to hit the record button at the bottom of the remote and it would instantly start to record, but the little un has been playing with the remote (or mrs) and now when I press it now brings up the other option of that key, which is the raido, and stop is now the TV option. How can I set it up so its the other way around again, its doing my head in

Need help i have just got a smargo reader to use with my sky card the set up for the reader to the box is fine .The sky card is working but i can not get the sky premium channels to work is there something im missing in the CCcam.cfg.i can watch other channels but not movies.
Any one using a smargo to give us their settings.i have the box key ready and want to know were it goes.Also i dont want to mess around with the smart card clock frequency so i have not touch that yet.How do i get the movie channels to work with my smargo.

To get the premium channels to work, you need to input the box key in to the cccam.cfg...

It goes in there like this:

BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 xx xx xx xx

The one difference will be that yours won't be /dev/sci0, as you're using a smargo. I think it'll be something like tts0 or something like that, but if you take a look at cccam info in internet explorer, then choose entitlements, it'll tell you there what you need to select...

Cheers lovelldr its now sorted took me the whole afternoon to get it to work.Before the box key i was putting the # sign which is not meant to be there.The only problem is i can't connect the smargo with out removing the ethernet cable,its getting in the way i might have to get a usb extension cable then connect the Smargo. Anyway thanks for the help.
Also will my Smargo reader work with any card?im thinking of getting Al jazeera sports card but before i get it i want to make sure it will work.
With the Smargo reader now i dont have to worry about the temp of my sky card ,its working perfect

Reloaded DreamElite lastnight, everything looks like it running well now.
Read on there forum a few other have also had the same problem though, will
keep an eye on CCcam.

I have a Dm800 and i have used it in the dm card reader but it gets really hot so i dont want to end up cooking the sky card.i dont know why its gets really hot mybe its because i have a hard drive in there as well.Can someone tell us if they have used the sky card in the dm 800 and never had problems of the card getting hot?i would really like to use it in the dm reader but am a bit worried i might burn the sky card.

I used my skyhd card in my DM800 (now use it in my DM8000) without any problems, also had HD in it also.

The dm800 is very small so its understandable why the cards getting hot. 8000 is fully sized so heat is not an issue. Personally i would use dedicated server. Get hold of a o2 joggler 50 quid perfect with ubuntu

How is the Dm8000 going for you?Im saving up to get one but still waiting for the price to go down a bit.Are these the right dimensions for the Dm 8000: 430 x 80 x 270 millimetres (WxHxD). im running out of space on my av unit.
