Dish installation- Manchester?

Hello all,

Can anyone recommend a satallite dish engineer in the Manchester Area.

I've just aquired a Darkbox 2008 hd combo and I'm hoping to install a 80cm motorised dish. I want to be able to connect to multiple satallites. What are the communities recommendations as to which satallites are the most worthwhile.

Cheers

Had mine installed(today) by Albsat,Blackley , near heaton park.
They got recommended to me.
Have to say they were superb.

With a motorised dish you will be able to pick up the main sats (Thor, Hotbird, Astra 19 etc)

We install in Manchester/ (& Cheshire/ N Staffs/ N Derbyshire), for smaller installs (big dishes & we go further)..... PM me with details etc.

As for satellites .. free TV in Manchester should always include Arabsat - BADR4 at 26e (free movies etc) - you need a little bit bigger than an 80 though & a good dish/ lnb - the receivers definitely OK though....

We usually like to get about 30+ satellites 45e to 45w or further unless it is a very restricted line of sight... usually get 30+... then it's all about numbers- weak signals/ weak beams.. & a solid job... the difference between a really good install & er not.

Had my dish replaced, new motor and LNB + setup = £160.
They charged about £60 to install.
Total = £160 for equipment and installation

Got Sky on a separate fixed dish and a motorised dish for hotbird, thor etc

Alsat superior dark motor, not sure dish make, they did say the make but can't remember it.
Using it with a dreambox 7000. Just programmed thor, astra and hotbird on it for now.
