The HD box is possibly outputting on a different RF channel to the ordinary Skybox so you will need to retune your TV to pick up the new channel. To use the Magic Eye you will have to enter the Installer Menu and turn the RF outlet power on.
If you have the new EPG then it is Services-0-0-1-Select
If you have the old EPG Then it is Services-4-0-1-Select

You will also find hte box will be tuned to Ch 68 as default. Try tuning your TV to the same channel, to make sure he's plugged the RF's into the right sockets on your box.
