Sensor was disconnected

We have an Echostar satellite and the motor sensor was disconnected, the dish was moving but the satellite was giving a Motor Error.

Now that we have reconnected the Sensor, the receiver and dish are communicating but the dish is obviously out by some degree, how can I get this back in!?

The receiver is an Echostar DVR-7000

Thanks all :D
