Satellite installation question

Im looking into ditching sky and getting something like a dreambox, but before i do i was wondering a few things and I was hoping you guys could help me?

1. Would I still get all the UK channels no problem?
2. I know i could get HD, but could I get features similar to sky+ in a box as well?
3. What kind of dish is required/recommended
4. Football...how do i get live football on a saturday...do i have to pay for polsat for scottish footie for instance?

Any advice is welcome

Cheers
