Sky/dreambox help

Hi,

I have recently moved to a new flat, which has a Sky+ dish installed. I do not have a sky subscription, and was wondering whether I would be able to use a dreambox or similar to view the encrypted channels.

Thanks,

Nick

Watching encypted channels on a Dreambox can be achieved by using the appropriate software and a Sky subscription card.
Any other means of viewing subscription channels without paying is illegal piracy and the ways and means cannot be discussed on here.
Try googling.

I'm not being pedantic but from the rules
http://www.avforums.com/forums/view_rules.htm

Piracy

The AVForums does not condone or promote piracy of any kind. This specifically includes piracy of

* video material (copying DVDs or HDTV encoded movies via the internet)
* music via filesharing MP3/WMA and other digital music not specifically permitted for download in this way
* games and other applications leaked, downloaded or copied

Why do we take this position? Because doing the above is theft. It's illegal.

Whether or not you agree with file sharing and whether or not you agree with the ways the big corporations try to combat this 'problem', you may not post anything on these forums which can be interpreted by our moderators as directly promoting piracy.

One that allows the discussion of illegal activities. AVForums is not the place.

If you wish to view encrypted channels, contact Sky and pay for their service.
