TV with builtin Freesat, that has DiSEqC

Are there any on the UK market? plasma or LCD 1080P 42" - 46" ish

I like the Panasonic TX-P**G10 range but the UK model dont have it, unlike the european version does version 1.0, why?

Looked at the LG 47LF7700, but no mention of it in the pdf specs?

Would be nice to have a screen with 28.2e, 19.2e & 13e all available at the touch of a button and no external boxes.

Failing that ill be looking for a screen without any sat tunner and get a new HD satellite reciever ( probably a Technomate 6900 )

The only one I can think of is the Pioneer KRP 500a which has DiSEqC 1 but isn't AFAIK Freesat approved so it may not get ITVHD

Or the Freesat EPG. Also, the tuners seem to be in a "separate media receiver", so in practice this may not be much different from the OP's alternative of a monitor & satellite receiver.

Re: TV with builtin Freesat, that has DiSEqC

My guess is the Freesat spec didn't include DiSEqc (why would it?) so any TV's incorporating a Freesat tuner won't be allowed to have it either as it wouldn't then be approved by Freesat.

That can't be true the Foxsat-HD and The Foxsat-hdr twin tuner pvr both support diseqc switching. You have to use non-freesat mode to use it but as all freesat tuners (including integrated ones) have a non-freesat (generic fta) capability if they are not included it's down to economics. To the OP why not get a TV without freesat and use the money you saved to get a Foxsat-hdr which will give you two channel recording (inc HD recording) and will happily drive a motorised dish

That's rather a tempting argument - & might explain why the non-Freesat mode on my Bush Freesat HD box is so crude compared to my basic FTA Fortec Star 4300 - but I doubt if Freesat could insist on such a restriction. In any case, Technisat use the Freesat logo on their receivers, which do have DiSEqC.

I think it's more to do with manufacturers trying to balance the range of features in their products (each of which they have to support) with the likely market for the more sophisticated features. Or to put it more simply, is it worth putting DISEqC in a TV aimed at the average viewer who just wants to watch Freesat?

Thats the plan really as in getting a TM-6900, was just asking here as it would be nice to have a one box solution, for the main channels i watch not just on astra 28.2e

Dont look like its an option the UK market is catered for saddly, tho im sure its a firmware issue , that can be easily updated

You do know the 6900 won't let you record from the freeview and sat tuner at the same time ?

Now I am puzzled, why pay so much for what for you is a single tuner box ? You can get a twin tuner Foxsat-hdr that will also handle a motorised setup for around £250.00 (less if you shop around)
