I have a pioneer kuro 500A and just bought a Dish and fittings so that i can use the Pioneers free to air.

Now the question, what is the best sateillite to tune into, some say hotbird and some say Astra!!!

would be happy on any advise please.

looking for chanels like discovery, music, or programs of interest.
not looking for the junk likes sales chanels,

If you want English language FTA (including I'm afraid all the junk) Astra2/Eurobird 28E, where Sky transmit from, is your best bet.
The Discovery channels are encrypted on all platforms in Europe, but as you'll see from this list there's a fair selection at 28E including some music channels
