Question Multiroom...how would you do it?

Hi guys, after a bit of advice on how you would go about doing this. I've not got my finger on the pulse with sattelites, re-routing them and the like and whilst I have a reasonable understanding, was hoping for some inspiration from you guys

At present, I have two sky boxes - a bog standard one and a Sky+ box. The standard box is an expired multiroom box and runs FTA channels in the bedroom whereas the Sky+ box is sat in the lounge.

What I want to do is add a third TV in a third room (RoomC). I have a few ideas as to how I might go about this, but what I wanted to do is run them by you guys. Realistically, I only need bog standard channels in RoomC as the idea is the missus gets kicked out when the footy is on The lounge and RoomC need to be able to view different channels but I'm less concerned about the whether the bedroom is able to.

So the easy option is to take out the current HD offer with sky, I get multiroom added to RoomC and the HD box goes into the lounge. At £20 a month extra that's probably my most expensive solution too. I'd also have to buy an octo LNB in order to keep the FTA upstairs? That is assuming I keep the Sky+ functionality in the office.

Similarly I could simply take out multiroom and get a new Sky+ box - an extra £10 a month.

Another idea I had was to reroute the cable running to the bedroom to RoomC giving it access to FTA directly and running the bedroom off the output on the Sky+ box in the lounge through the coaxial (aerial) cables that have been installed through the house? My only issue with this right now is the fact that my initial tests of this are very poor quality - I have no booster in place though, just a 1-4 splitter. That's probably my cheapest option but picture quality would have to be better than it currently is.

My final solution would be to have freesat in RoomC - currently there is a spare connection on the quattro LNB so I could run a lead from the dish to RoomC and install a freesat box. This would be pricey in the short term as I would need to buy a freesat box. Even more expensive if I wanted PVR functionality for her damn soaps which is likely.

So there you go, these are the options I think I've got, what I'm after is whether there are any other alternatives I hadn't considered such as slingboxes or similar (I have no idea how they work and if they would solve this) or for the options above what you would recommend in order to do it right.

Thanks in advance.
