Confused

Just got my first ever sat nav (garmin nuvi 250)
Will be going to Manchester airport soon so started having a play about with it.
It asks for street & post codes which I don`t know & there are 5 man/airport destinations.
All I want is to find the way to Terminal1
I know I must be doing something wrong , but can not figure it out. Any help please

Re: Confused

Best thing to do imo mate is just navigate to the airport, via the road that the airport is on, and then it should be easy enough to find terminal 1 as they'll all be signposted anyway.

Re: Confused

if ur coming along from newcastle

ur gonna hit the m60 and from there u've got manchester airport signs

once u get closer it starts to split up but other than that they're all in the same place. there's only one junction for the airport and then it goes into a dual carriageway from where the signs for the various terminals begin - u cant get lost from that point.

Re: Confused

Press "Where to?"
select "Near"
select "A Different City"
press OK
Type in Manchester
select Manchester Airport
select "Food Hotels..."
select "Transit"
select "Air Transport"
select a Manchester Airport option or press the down button
if it is the wrong terminal or location press "back" and select another terminal until you find the right one.

Re: Confused

cheers guy`s, "smjxm09" done what you said & yes it showed Term1. it just seems a very complicated way of doing things.
Is it always best to have the post code of where your going to?
Going to be driving down to Venice (Italy) later this month would you just type in "Venice" & then when you got there look for the road signs to the ferry terminal?
Or would you split the journey up ie, Calais to Metz, Metz to Strasbourg, Strasgourg to Luzern etc
I really thought they were a lot easier to use, but it`s probably just me being thick. cheers

Re: Confused

I have only had mine a week and it took me no more than a few seconds to go through the options to find Manchester Airport. The problem with that airport is that there are many destinations within it. Normally you would just either enter a post code or the full address and click OK. Have a look at these two youtube video guides.
