Sat Nav that accepts GPS co-ordinates

can anybody advise whether there is a Sat Nav that will allow the input of GPS co-ordinates as well as Postcodes and address details.

We want to do some wild camping in France and the only detailed information other than the town is the GPS location.

We currently have a Tom Tom 700

Re: Sat Nav that accepts GPS co-ordinates

I should think you already can on your 700 (I can on my Go 520), but maybe your firmware version is too old? Don't you have a choice after "navigate to" that says "longitude and latitude"?

I think this has been a feature from firmware version 6 and above.

Depending on how wild you are going and how much you want to spend.Tomtom 6 on the pda i know supports gps locations as i have used it myself.Another application if you are going for really "wild" is memory map which uses ordanance survey maps.I know that this is rather expensive but i believe they provide a trial version.

MioMap also allows you to input coordinates
Look at the Navigo £60 thread
