Haven't got one personally but from reading on here the Navman F20 seems like a bargain, PCWorld selling it for £125 I think online and you wont get mmuch cheaper than that.

Re: Looking for cheap SatNav System

Take a trip down to Sainsbury's you may be able to get a Sony NAV-50U for £99.99 It's an discontinued model reduced from about £249. It lacks some of the features of newer models but at £99 you can't grumble. This also has a much better screen than the Garmin i3.

If you start to ask questions about features etc you'll soon end up spending £250

EDIT: Teach me to read! this does not do full postc0de search but it does have the facility for partial post code search. You'll also be very lucky to get speed camera database as standard for this money.

Re: Looking for cheap SatNav System

I just bought a Navman F20 for £120 delivered from www.tecno.co.uk using voucher code TECNO3. Arrived in under 24 hours and so far so good. Not much different to my Dad's Tom Tom One - I am happy with it.

Re: Looking for cheap SatNav System

Also bought the F20 today from Tecno and was really suprised that it picked up sats inside our house staight away without having to go outside.
Previous TomTom wired usually took a couple of mins but always outside.
Was thinking our roof tiles had come off in that wind other week lol.

You can use a mini-usb to usb lead and charge from a PC.
