Garmin crash

Has anyone had any problems with their Garmin c510. I've had two die on me in two months.
Both just failed to work when my ignition was turned on, (they both displayed just one light on the cigarette lighter plug) and seemed dead as a dodo..
Is this a common problem or am i just unlucky.
The reset button failed to bring them back to life and Halfords have replaced them.
Regards
Steve

Re: Garmin crash

Hi Stevie

I don't have a Nuvi c510 but a 360. Just wondering if it dies if you charge it from the normal charger. Your symptoms seem to suggest your car is sending out too powerful a charge. Not that I know what I'm talking about so lets wait for an expert to comment!!
