TomTom One V2 - Problem

Hi all

I got a TomTom one V2 for christmas i am very pleased with it, although one slight thing i have noticed is when the battery runs completley flat, and i then charge it, it does not switch on. i have to reset it for it to come on.

This only happens when the battery is dead.

Any one else suffer this?

Thanks

Chris

Re: TomTom One V2 - Problem

Just a quick follow up, if anyone has a tomtom one v2 and it runs out of battery completely, when they start to charge it can they turn it on as soon as its plugged into the mains?

Thanks all

Chris

Re: TomTom One V2 - Problem

I have the same problem. Does updating the firmware definitely fix this? I'm contemplating whether to return it for a new one?

Re: TomTom One V2 - Problem

It seems to have improved the problem but I wouldn't say its fixed completely.

Re: TomTom One V2 - Problem

I see. I'm just concerned that if I got it replaced there would be an exact same issue with the replacement unit. It seems farcical that you have to take a paperclip wherever you go!

Re: TomTom One V2 - Problem

Okay thanks Chris - I'll give it a bit more time before I consider returning it.
