TomTom Go 710 bluetooth problems - faulty?

Hi all,

I bought myself a 710 about a week ago, and I am having massive headaches with the bluetooth side of things, to the point where I am 99% sure it's faulty.

I can connect the 710 to my Sony Ericsson K800i, and when the passcode request comes up I put that in and away we go. Or so you'd think. Nope, the connection drops within seconds, and up comes the passcode request again. And so on, and so on.

Now, I've changed the 710's profile in my phone to "Always Allow", so it shouldn't even be asking me for the passcode, but I can't go for more than 30 seconds without a passcode request popping up on my phone.

Tried it with my Samsung x820 (although not listed as compatible with TomTom) and I get exactly the same behaviour.

Has anyone got a 710 working well with a k800i? Or has anyone got any ideas as to a fix? Tried the trusty old reset button, and have updated to the latest software, but no joy.

Cheers
