Red face new member 1st post, help please

Please can anyone help.
I have a Polstar RoadMentor PRM-1000 the other day while it was turned on my son touched the SD card and it came out, now all I can get is the
screen where you see a pic of the world ! nothing else works, has the satnav died or can the problem be with the SD card ??
I'd be grateful for any help. many thanks, vacinc

I wouldn't think the satnav would have died. Worst case senario is that the sd card is corrupted. If you have the info backed up you could try reformatting the card and reloading the map info. Firstly though, see if there's a hardware (or a software) reset for the satnav and give that a try.
