Angry Brand new Tomtom One V2 no gps signal.

Hello, I've a new Tomtom One V2, just got round to using it well
trying to use it, connected to my computer using tomtom home I get an
excellent signal strength finds 10 satellites etc, unplug the usb cable and
all I get is no gps signal can be found, tried resetting it with paper clip
etc, still no joy, do I have a dud ? Have been outside for 30 mins @ a time, still not working ???
Any help would be appreciated as I've been at this tomtom all day and I can
take no more.
Cheers,
Pug
