Software updates for Garmin i3 StreetPilot

Strange one this, but I bought an i3 SatNav (2nd hand but unused) and there was no registration slip in the box.

As such I can't register it with Garmin website and get latest maps for UK loaded.

Can anyone provide/sell/advise on this?

I bought mine new from Halfords and it did not come with a registration code slip either.

I guess we need to phone Garmin UK (0870 8501242) to sort it out.

But note that map updates are not free anyway.

Update:

I phoned Garmin and gave them the unit serial no, and they gave me the registration code. Map DVD is on its way and I have the link to unlock/pay for the update when it arrives.

Good luck with your update. They try and charge you $75.00!!!!

Yes, I know - but it is only about £38 at them moment.

DVD arrived and update complete - they didn't charge me as V9 was released within 6 months of me buying the unit.
