Can I just assume...

Hi all, I am going to town today to get myself a TomTom One, I have trawled the internet, but cant find the info I am looking for. I woulld like to know the difference between TomTom one GB V1 and TomTom GB V2? what is the difference?

And also, I am probably going to be buying it from a high street store, Argos, comet or Currys for Eg. but they dont state TomTom V2...should I just assume that it is?

1 last question (thanks for bearing with me) I already have TomTom 5 installed on my PDA (but prefer to get an all in one unit) and was wondering what version of TomTom the TomTom GB V2 was on? I am a bit behind now!

Thanks for the help guys, appreciate it
Stuart

Most of the tom toms in big high street shops should be version 2. Version 1 was a black one and a bit rounded, and the newer one is silver. This is the one available in currys for £159.99 at the moment. Hope that helps

Re: Can I just assume...

You'd be very lucky to find a V1 in any of the High Street stores now.

As the above post says, the new V2 is silver.

Re: Can I just assume...

I think the latest firmware version for the GO range is 6.150, but I'm not sure this bears any relation to the PDS app versioning.
