Connecting TomTom One to Nokia 6680 via bluetooth

My new TOMTOM shows an icon for conneting to my phone yet when I try to do this It connects see's my phone and starts to link but only geys to 60 to 65% before failing and offering manual connection.

How do you connect I belive its nessessary to try the tial software (ie safety cameras) and trafic jams.

Have you got your phones Bluetooth switched on.??????
Also the free one month trial is for traffic only and not speed camera locations as i found out this morning.


Turn bluetooth on phone on.
Press connect to your phone on the tomtom.
Then the search should happen, confirm that it is your phone, my phone has my name or it will come up with the brand of phone that you have and that is what it asks you to connect to.
Then you should have the options of setting up the wireless connection..

If it asks for a password on the phone it is 0000,you should be up and running...

Do I need to connect in order to update my tomtom.

Also have you connected yours if so what did you do (any problems)

Yes you need to connect to the phone's bluetooth option, on the phone a message will appear ask to connect or/ connect always..Then the tomtom should proceed with the installation.

I think that when you are out in the car and you want the traffic info to work you have to make sure that you have the phones bluetooth function swithched on and it will constantly connect to the net and then update the tomtom, make sure you turn off the bluetooth function when it is not being used...
