what sat nav??

Hi all thanks for looking in,i'm just about to start a new job doing parcel deliverys and it's one where it's a job then finished. So basically the quicker i get round the drops quicker i get home so i'm looking at buying sat nav to help me out on this job.So i'm looking for some advice on which sat nav i should buy, hopfully one that is bluetooth and my samsung z500 mobile phone can be linked up to it.

Ideally i'd like to buy a sat nav that will tell me where the speed camras are and most of all take me from door to door.Anyone no if say at the start of my journey i can put in a certain amount of postcodes in and this will then send me to the nearest address in the list then onto the next one ect.Has the work sheets aren't printed in order and don't want to find myself going round in circles. Thanks for taking the time to look at this post and hopefully someone can give me some great info

Hi

The Tom Tom One would be my recommendation - it does (almost) everything you want. It's fairly cheap and it's nice and compact.

I don't know of any Satnav which will sort your route for you though. You can put an itenerary into the tomtom with all your stops and view the finished route on a map. It should be pretty easy once looking at that map to see if any of the destinations need swapping around to avoid doubling back on yourself.

I have had some experience with Tom Tom, but am also looking to see if there is anything better out there with good value for money.

TomTom has some new devices that are coming out soon. They all have handsfree Bluetooth and a lot of other great features. Check them out here: clubtomtom.com They may suit your needs.

I think the op is looking for a device which will calculate multi drop routes...does any of the hardware referred to capable of doing this?

Re: what sat nav??

The Gizmondo will sort multi drops out for you. In fact I'm just about to start some agency work and was thinking about upgrading my basic NavSure to the Gizmondo.

Re: what sat nav??

Also the Garmin Nuvi 710 has this function although I'm not sure how many addresses you can input. I tried to find out today by phoning the freephone number on Garmin's own website only to be told it is an incorrect number !

I realised that after my intial reply. It may still be helpful for people like me who are researching into which sat nav has these functions.
