Tomtom Traffic - Mobile Phone Prob

Hi all,

Got a tomtom 300 last week, all set up etc and a great piece of kit....however, I would like to try the traffic part of it (can have a months free trial) but I just cant get it to connect to the net through my Sony Ericsson K750i.

I'm on O2 and a PAYG tarrif (the 300 txt a month one) and I reckon it's that that's the problem, unsurprisingly O2's helpline were no use what so ever, so I'm hoping someone can help me here.

It is a sim free phone so would another network solve the problem ? as I could just get a PAYG sim for any other network just to use for the tomtom....

Cheers

Dave

Take a look at clubtomtom.com and see if you can check your phone's compatibility with the 300. It's a good TomTom blog with a lot of impressive info.

No problem, hopefully Club TomTom will be able to help you out moving forward. Good luck.

Well, as a help to anyone else with this problem, I tried a PAYG Orange sim today in the same phone and it worked

It's O2 and their tariffs......they don't allow it on PAYG
