tomtom300 problem

had tomtom300 6 months no probs .been updateing when notivated for new speed cams .did the last one early dec and ever since it wont start up . been intouch with tomtom support but very slow. been advised to load new version done this but still no good .
can press power button will start up , bar goes across screen loadind mem card then nothing just a picture of tomtom dashbord. can start with no card in and get annimation telling me to put card in ,i do this and the same happens. the only way to switch unit off when this occurs is to press the reset button underneath.
can anyone help me?

You have a back-up of your card that you can use, when all was ok?

Have you tried reformatting the SD card and trying again

have no backup copy so what can i do . wont reformating wipe mem card.

and what if i get one of these mem cards of ebay for £10-15 will it work or is there security software that stops u doing this

problem solved . support line very helpful deleted all last know cam updates and worked fine . so one of the files was corrupt , causing probs. put cam updates back on and is workin fine.
