Any opinions on the Navman PIN 570 or ICN 520?

Hi folks,

I'm going to get a sat nav system, and I'm considering the 2 systems in the title. I may still consoder the TomTom One, but I don't like the other Tom Tom's because of their shape.

Anyway, the Navmans, are they any good? does anyone have any experience or pointers to any reviews?

A couple of specific questions I have.
1. Is the software the same on the ICN520 and the PIN570?
2. Are there freely available downloads i.e. speed camera updates etc. available?
3. Are they as good as the Tom Tom one?

Thanks for looking

I take it you have seen...http://www.navman-pcn.com/index.php?product=44&features

I have a 6xx series iCN but i am unable to comment on the 520 as i hae never seen one in action. The iCN unit quickly became a necessity and i now rarely venture far without it. It is not perfect but in the whole i can't complain too much. Most of the niggles are small software related issues and a few map related however i would expect some of them to be addressed by the SmartST 2005 that is installed on the 520.
I'm sure you won't be dissapointed. Check out Costco as they have the premium edition which has mapping for 16 EU countries as standard, for a great price.

Check out for clearence offers on...http://www.navman-pcn.com/index.php?product=12

One downside is Navman customer service...it's pretty dire.
