Pricey, but I think the phone is worth it.
Just a heads up. Do NOT order from this seller. It was supposed to be despatched same day by 1st class post. I ordered last saturday (7 days ago) and it's still not here. The seller supposedly despatched on wednesday.

They don't answer emails and have a slew of negative and neutral feedback.

I'm stuck without a case and can't order one until this is resolved.

If the case doesn't arrive on Monday I will open a case with ebay as I simply can't be bothered with hassle like this.

I just got a ultraslim pouch direct from Sena in the states.

Suits me perfectly as I only wanted something to protect the Galaxy when in my pocket and this adds virtually no bulk or weight to it.

Excellent service as well since it was fed exed within 2 days.

Meh, got this one already and really don't like it. Adds too much bulk/weight to what is a fantastic looking slim phone.

BLACK S-LINE GEL CASE COVER SAMSUNG I9100 GALAXY S2

Just got this one through the post. Bit better than the one above, but it's quite a loose fit.

SAMSUNG GALAXY-S2-i9100 SKIN-CASE:BLACK PART OF THE QUBITS ACCESSORIES RANGE

Not overly happy with either of them, so still open to suggestions.

made of gel, tightly fit, very happy with the case. It is less than £2
I got this after reading your review. It's very nice. The back looks made of very high quality material and expensive. The front is thin and good. The side is not very high quality like the back but not bad either. Fits the phone tight and looks slim.

great for the price. thanks.

Can anyone try Facebook for a response as I dont have a Facebook account. 2 Email to Tech 21 and neither responded to on for Ipad case i have and the other for the SG2 availability. Pretty daft having a contact if all you get is an automated reply saying received.

Meantime I have decided a flip case would be good having tried a relatives XTC wildfire one. Thing is the prices are all over the place and cant decide i am tempted by this one as its so cheap. Can anyone tell me if the headphones can be used whilst closed with these type of cases as its not obvious. The official Samsung flip leather is also under consideration.

The best one I have found looks wise and in terms of being the slimmest, which is not yet available is made by Zeus

I have today managed to scratch a corner of the casing (black bit and not the grey bit that is on the front).

Does anyone know if I can buy a replacement part for the particular bit of the casing so that I can unscrew the scratched bit and replace it?

My case mate tough case has finally arrived and its superb. An inner gel skin goes on first then the harder outer shell goes on. Unlike the official mesh case this one.protects the top and bottom of the phone. I think it also adds to the aesthetics of the phone and adds a nice bit of extra weight making.it feel a.good bit more substantial. Fits like a glove and is great quality. I wouldn't usually spend 30 pounds on a case but this one is excellent and the phone deserves it. Highly recommended.

I've got the same case and I can't speak highly enough of it. Slim, looks classy and protects the phone in all the right places.

Using this at the moment. It's okay, but it comes off quite easily which isn't great. Need a new one really.

Zagg Invisible Shield - Orange Peel Effect

I received my Zagg Invisible Shield and despite being more than happy with their products on all my previous devices, I'm not too sure on the S2. The orange-peel effect is quite noticeable. As it happens, the protector was damaged in transit (imprint of the box's shield cut-out) and I have asked for a replacement. They haven't responded to my email yet, but I'm hoping they'll send me a new one (without asking for the old one back, as I don't want to cover it's P&P). If/when that happens, I might run with the shield until I can decide on its replacement and find someone to take the replacement off my hands.

Hi Guys,

Well just over a week ago I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S II, hence why I'm in this thread.

Originally to tide me over I bought the Case Mate Barely There it's a simple clip on back case that I was quite pleased with as it was thin and pretty well made but it didn't give me full protection I was after like a full case does.

Anyway not to ramble on I was browsing Mobile Fun - Mobile Accessories, Bluetooth Headsets, SIM Free Mobiles, Ringtones, Games & more! and placed an order for the official Samsung leather pouch and official Samsung dock (I'm a sucker for official products)

Well today they came and I have to say I'm mightily impressed.

First off the case with a few pics and words.

Item well packed and no damage:

The tan colour, pressed logo and consistent stitching:

Inside the case and the included cleaning cloth which is very thick and of high quality, it works well:

Close up of stitching:

Phone inside the case with cleaning cloth, good fit as you would expect from an official product:

My only gripe, without a magnetic part to close the lid it does stick up at the moment:

Anyway I'm really pleased with the case I think it has a classy look and it's well made. My only gripe would be that the lid doesn't close down with a button or magnets, this means it doesn't sit flush. It's only a small minus but because the leather is quite soft, in time when placed in a pocket I believe it will stay flush when worn a little.

All in all you pay a little more but I feel you get a far better product than the cheaper cases I've used in the past. They work and do a job but I do like to have something designed for the phone than a generic case.

Now I know this is a cases thread but I think it would be better served as a accessories thread so will add the dock here too.

Here are some pics and a few words.

As with the case it came well packaged with no damage:

The dock itself:

USB cable and a line out to plug into speakers:

Volume keys:

Phone docked, perfect fit and automatically loads up the screen you see:

Just another random pic:

Now I'm a sucker for either using cheap eBay docks or no dock at all, only recently have I been buying them for my phones (last a BlackBerry) and I can't remember ever finding one that felt well made or had a perfect fit. This on the other hand is superb, not only does it look brilliant but it has a quality feel and weight too it, it's also perfect fitting. The line out and volume keys are a nice touch, it also has rubber feet on the bottom to stop any scratching of surfaces. I've just noticed there is a type of speaker on the back which I imagine is to enhance the standard phone loudness.

Anyway I hope this has been of use to some of you and just to keep on theme, all pics taken by the Samsung Galaxy S II apart from the ones containing the phone.

Thanks for the post on the desktop dock/case. I've been considering the dock for a while and your comments were enough for me to finally place the order. Amazon are quoting 1 - 3 months, but I can wait. And in my experience items often come a lot quicker.

I'm sure you will be more than pleased with it.

Also if you wanted it a lot sooner then I know mobile fun have it in stock, or they did at the weekend.

For anyone that is interested. As I mentioned above the case lid didn't sit flush but after being in my pocket for a couple of hours, the natural wear of the leather now allows it to sit flush.

As it stands for what I want it's perfect.

Yeah I've got one and can thoroughly recommend it. Superb quality and fit, plus adds virtually no bulk or weight.

One thing though, when you first get it you may think it's too tight (even turns the handset on by itself as soon as you put it in the pouch) but stick with it and it soon gives a little making it the perfect fit imo.

Excellent. That's the kind of feedback I was hoping for!

I know what you mean about the tight feel. I had the same 'issue' when i bought an ikonic edge leather pouch for my iphone 4.

Thanks again!

Definitely not scratch proof, not sure how it happened.

Was just about to order case/screen protector too

Oh well, will order one anyway
