1 New Message Display No sender shown ... help !!!

I am currently experiencing problems with my samsung tocco ultra. It used to display on the screen 1 new message with the date time and sender and the option to view or exit. However about a week ago it began to show only the date and time with a blank space where the sender should be shown.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this please?
