I've recently upgraded my phone to a Samsung S8300 and I'm having problems configuring the phone to make the keys silent when they are pressed and to silence any audio alert that I have a new text or voice mail.

Can someone help me to change the settings for the above.

Unfortunately I am still trying to sort my phone out. I am having a problem with signal strength and so far I am not impressed with this phone

I think you can just press the rocker key on the left hand side to increase/decrease keypad tone
