Samsung Tocco Lite, using with google maps?

Hi Guys.
I have the Samsung Tocco Lite, and have the widget/apps for google maps installed on the phone, with java v2.3.2,
but it doesn't load.
all I get is "network unavailable"
I can access the internet OK otherwise.

Any idea's?

Might not be much help but I have received a Tocco Lite (on T-Mobile) today and the Google maps load faultlessly, they do take a little while longer than a PC though!

I couldn't say for certain but I wouldn't rule it out.

Looking at the user reviews on mobile phones UK there does seem to be a problem with people who use O2 as their provider but I can remember seeing any problems with Vodaphone mentioned.

Here are the reviews:-

Re: Samsung Tocco Lite, using with google maps?

I had a similar problem with my phone as I could not find a way to set the connection profile for the google maps app.

I eventually found it by going to applications, games and more (I think) you can then go into the application settings and set which internet connection you'd like to use for the applications.

Works great now

Go though the sequence above, and set which internet connection you'd like to use for the applications, in my case, PAYT WAP.

What network are you with?.
