Does anybody know where i can get this done in the west yorkshire area. I have tried a numbr of local phone shops but nobody seems to have the software to do this.

Are you sure the phone is locked? I have one on a Virgin £15/month contract but have just, as a trial, removed the SIM and replaced it with a Tesco PAYG one and it works fine.

Give it a try and perhaps save yourself some money.

It is, i've tried to put an o2 sim in and it deosn't work

That's a pity. Strange also, unless of course some service providers insist on phones being locked whilst others don't.
