I have just inherited my girlfriends Samsung SGH-D900 mobile and I have downloaded Samsungs PC Studio3 (Vista version) with all the latest updates so that I can send some of my music files to my 2gb memory equipped phone.

When I connect my phone via the USB lead to pc Studio3 it recognises the connection with no problem, but when I try to send some of my music files to my phone using the Phone Explorer tab it says...

Operation not possible or format not compatible with the destination!

These files are wma encoded files, is this the issue?
If so is there a way to change the coding to mp3 if this is the answer?

I wouldn't mind but I only want to upload one tune so that I can use it as a ringtone!

Finally what is the best way to install new wallpaper downloads onto my phone, other than thru the Samsung site.

Well according to the Samsung site listing the features of the D900 (click Here) it states

Don't compromise just because you're on the go. Now you can play MP3, AAC, AAC+, and e-AAC+ audio files, all with just a click of a button, on your mobile. The D900 is always ready to entertain.

so no WMA format mentioned, so I would say the files are not compatible with your phone.

There are loads of free programs to convert audio formats. I have created all of my MP3 files with Exact Audio Copy.
