Syncing outlook and Omnia I910

Hello all

I am new to these forums but am hoping someone here can give me some help, I apoligize if this topic is somewhere i missed.

Anyhow i have a Samsung Omnia 910 phone with windows mobile 6.1 and have been trying desperatley to get it to sync properly with my outlook 2007 ISP mail account. oh i should mention i am using windows 7 (no problems with software btw)

Initially when installing all the software ect with the phone i chose to sync contacts calendars and email. all worked great except i am unable to send an receive email via my phone unless i connect it to my computer and sync it. All it seems to do is hold the email till i do a sync. I tried removing my parternship with active sync software ect and redoing it all but this time using the Omnia i setup my email account with server address and password ect thinking that might work but it will not sync properly and download my subfolders ect for my inbox and of course when i sync it puts it all back into the outlook account it creates itself.

What i am wondering is there must be away to sync my desktop and mobile email using outlook and still having all my sub folders and such to be able to send and receive using either my computer or phone while it maintains what needs to be updated on each end.. or am i barking up the wrong tree here

I have been wondering would i be better off finding a seperate email provider that uses microsoft exchange servers?? if so any recomendations on what provider is better than another?? Also with not being all that familiar with exchange servers i am thinking that it should work pretty similar to the way outlook functions today using my ISP (pop3 imap) mail and contacts and calendar stuff?

Any help would be greatly appreciatted. i have tried following this guide http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...T.mc_id=FWLink

but again it will not work the way my brain thinks it should.

I feel that there must be some way to setup my account so when i send recieve from home and then hook up my phone it will transfer any new emails to the right folders just as they are in my outlook, and when i send/recieve from my mobile it should transfer my new email and sent items to the computer correct?? i seem to have that part just not the part of being able to actually send/receive from the handset it is grayed out. only able to actually do a send receive if i create a second email account inputting all my isp info but if i do that of course it won't sync my subfolders and such from my outlook on my computer.

grrrrr sorry i am very frusterated so i may not be explaining this properly

Thanks for any help
