Re: Samsung Omnia (i900) Owners thread
I have a question for you Omnia users out there who know alot more than me about this phone and WM devices in general. I want to switch to this device from my old Treo 650 so WM is a bit new to me.
I wanted to know if it was possible to switch the operating language on the Omnia because I am living in Germany and would prefer to have the OS in English so I dont have to always think and translate to do everything (it will be a challenge enough to learn WM).
I was told that it was possilbe by flashing the rom and changing it. My question to you, does it matter which English rom you use? Or will any do?
Plus, I saw that there are different parts of the rom. Do you have to replace all parts or only some in specific?
I was reading that it is safer to switch the whole thing and to use the whole rom.
I would appreciate alittle insight into this because when my contract is up in a few weeks, I would really love to buy this phone if I could get the thing in English.
Thanks for putting up with me.

Its worth mate it makes the phone more finger friendly (menu wise) also install SPB pocket plus as there is an option on there so the x actually closes what you have open.
To all that has SPB themes there's ben an update so that you can pick you're own icon clock combinations.

Merge the 2 files together and then delete the skins file from you're phone then add this to my storage. There is also an option on there to add to extra folders in the SPB menu (Games and Navigation) which is found in the scripts folder

Re: Samsung Omnia (i900) Owners thread
After downloading the slide to unlock pack... i noticed a clock download (see this http://handheld.softpedia.com/progDo...oad-52386.html ).... wondered if anyone else knew what this clock was for?
Is it for standby like with the iphone and its transparent clock at the top?
