TV Calibration

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and had a question...I recently purchased a Panasonic Plasma TH-42PX6U and Panasonic LCD Projection PT-52LCX66. I have been reading about TV Calibrations and have tried to find the best way to calibrate them but not spending a high dollar amount. I haven't even talken the TV's out of the box yet as I am waiting to move into my new place. I saw at Costco the DataColor SpyderTV and have been trying to find information on it. Is it worth it for the calibration or not I am not too familiar with what products are out there for calibration, of course I will not get a picture that maybe a professional would get me but seems like an easy tool to use and maybe could make a difference

There are three options:

You could use DVE (SD or HD versions available about £10)
http://www.woolworths.co.uk/ww_p2/pr...l?pid=50760330

You could try the SpyderTV which I have not used but I have heard good things about

Or you could pay to have it ISF calibrated (mine cost £300)

But you should run it in on low brightness & contrast settings for about 300 hours before the ISF

Hope this helps.
